One More 4 Jesus 2015 Spring Campaign

“One More for Jesus” is the motto for the Spring 2015 enlistment campaign.  That is: one more soldier or adherent or visitor or volunteer or advisory board member or neighbor or relative or friend or anyone else who could be a blessing to others.

The campaign is seven weeks long and ends on Easter Sunday.  The La Porte Corps, under guidance from Envoys Greg and Bethany Irwin has taken the initiative and has creatively planned or modified activities to encourage the opportunity for anyone to invite “one more” person.  Below is a brief summary of the campaign including some photos of what happened.

Week One – Senior Costume Party Tuesday 2/17/15. Transportation provided with help from La Porte Transport. Friday Night Life!  Food, Games, and Door Prizes on 2/20/15 from 5-8 PM. Men’s Sunday 2/21/15 with Men’s Choir singing during Sunday School and a Potluck dinner after church. And, introducing our new Praise and Worship leader Dale Wratchford!

At right is pirate Bethany at the costume party.  Below are the men (and boys) serving at the potluck dinner. Also, it is true, that even when dressed as a pirate that Bethany could not say "ain't". Arrgh!
